      <image:title>About - Meet Kassie</image:title>
<image:caption>Kassie Morgan is a state and nationally board-certified Acupuncturist and Chinese Herbal Medicine practitioner. She holds the title Diplomate in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine (NCBAHM). This title certifies that she has completed over 3,500 hours of training in all the principal aspects of Traditional Chinese Medicine, including acupuncture and the use of Chinese herbs and formulas. Kassie discovered acupuncture during a search for a deeper purpose and meaning in her life. It brought her greater self-awareness and clarity. She felt called to study this medicine after her life had shifted in incredibly positive ways due to receiving acupuncture treatments. Kassie is classically trained and graduated from a four year program at Daoist Traditions College of Chinese Medical Arts in Asheville, NC with a Masters in acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine. She was honored to study with Jeffery Yuen, an 88th generation Daoist priest from the Jade Purity School. She enjoys working with depression, anxiety and autoimmune conditions and feels deeply called to helping people embrace their own unique gifts. She likes to incorporate stone medicine, gua sha and cupping into her treatments.</image:caption>

Originating in China more than 2,500 years ago, acupuncture is currently one of the most thoroughly researched, practiced, and respected forms of complementary medicine available anywhere. According to Traditional Chinese Medicine, your overall health is determined by the quality of the Qi (energy) flow through the natural pathways of your body (meridians). Acupuncture uses a variety of techniques, including placing very thin sterile needles into specific points on the body, to stimulate and improve your Qi flow. The many benefits of acupuncture include: Pain reduction Stress and tension relief Increased energy levels Stronger digestion Relief from bad habits and addictions Greater sense of overall health and well-being</image:caption>
